Katchadourian in the Cape Verde event
Legendary Simmer Style rider Kai "Flykatcher" Katchadourian let's us in on some of his thoughts about the recent PWA event on Cabo Verde.
"– The PWA Cabo Verde 2007 event was the most intense contest I have ever done.
Pt Preta turned on with all time conditions, windier than normal, which was not all that easy to deal with, but it made for some really insane set ups.
Just making the top 20 let alone being in the thing in the first place after all the drama of simply getting in made me realize that it was a special moment for sure. I was impressed with our new squad member Jonas Ceballos, he adjusted to the situation really well and did some of the highest aerials of the entire event. It was great to see Teboul and Fernandez up there also in the top 16 and all 4 Simmer riders in the event won some heats so that is a great showing in my book especially in a comp like that one."
