Victor vice PWA wave champion

With a windless Corona Extra PWA World Cup event in Tiree, Scotland over with Victor Fernandez (E-42) is this years vice PWA wave champion. That said, massive congratulations from the entire Simmer Style team and crew goes out to Victor for an amazing season. What this young talent has in store for next year was quite clear as he won the Go Fast Energy Expression Session held during the event with a massive Air Chachoo. While on the Expression Session subject new team rider Colin Sifferlen (NC-4) grabbed gold with a massive Air Flaka at the Colgate Expression Session during the PWA Sylt event at the end of September.

The Mouss brothers Sylvain at PWA event in Sylt

The Mouss brothers Sylvain (f-73) and Benoit (F-72) took 14th and 19th respectively at the PWA event in Sylt at the end of September. Tests with new Simmer Style designs for the 2008 season is already in progress and the Mouss brothers plans to make it into the top 5 next year. Other plans include a windsurf/surf trip to Corsica at the end of the year. Junko 4th PWA overall wave

Another one going for 4th was Simmer Style's Junko Nagoshi (J-11) who was ripping in the women's wave in Sylt, a result that earned her a 4th place overall in the women's wave 2007, add a 7th place overall in freestyle and you should have a pretty clear picture of what this young woman is capable of. Champion makes record jump!

This was the headline on Sweden's largest news site last week. The news site claimed that Kristoffer Living's (S-80) back loop that was caught on tape by Johan Gerlander was the highest jump ever made in Sweden. Maybe a bit over the top, but still, good exposure for Simmer Style and the sport of windsurfing. 1.5 million people saw the picture / article and the web. TV clip had 40 000 unique viewers.

Ben Proffitt (K-800) managed to squeeze in a national comp while waiting for the PWA Tiree event, some sleepy judges mistook Ben's tabletop forward for a push loop that cost him a place in the finals, but hey Ben just added some Scottish flavor to his sail, stayed out way past dark to get the best conditions, told his friend Simon Crowther to shoot some photos and in the end Mc Proffitt got the best out of Scotland
