Choisissez le meilleur aileron Select pour votre SL-2
Jean-Charles MAES vous conseille pour optimiser votre vitesse sur les SL-2:
“Trouver un aileron passe partout n’est jamais simple et encore moins savoir ce qu’il apportera à la planche.
Sur les SL2 version liht/medium wind, le choix sera relativement simple pour les amateurs d’ailerons Select. En effet, il importe avant tout de choisir son plan d’eau et conditions de référence (celui où l’on passe le max de son temps), ceci étant fait deux grosses options se profilent:
- Le S12 SlamXL ou S12 Slam pour qui navigue en plan d’eau calme à moyennement clapoteux et surtout qui va naviguer sur la plage basse à medium de sa voile.
- Le Vmax pour qui va chercher systématiquement à se mettre dans le rouge (plage haute de la voile et de la board) et exploiter la “sur” vitesse. En effet, l’association SL2/Vmax agit comme une véritable gomme à clapot, profitant de la moindre rafale pour transformer l’énergie en accélération tout en gardant une relative sérénité à l’esprit.
Ainsi sur une SL2 133:
plan d’eau plat + plage basse de 8.6 = S12 slamXL 47 (light wind & sail 8.6)
plan d’eau agité + plage haute de 8.6 = Vmax 47 voir 45 (high wind & sail 8.6)
Sur SL2 112
plan d’eau plat et plage basse 7m ou 7.2 = S12 38/39 (light wind & sail 7.2)
plan d’eau agité et plage haute 7m ou 7.2= Vmax 38 “ (high wind & sail 7.2)

They foiled !
Remember that few days ago were were at la Forêt d’Orient lake for a AFS-1 & Tactik Sailboard test-weekend.
We had a rainy gusty from 0 to 25 knots windy Saturday. But some discovered new sensations !
Sunday was really shiny but inconsistant wind. The foil sail surprised lots of Tactik riders: light in hands and efficient in the lightest breezes, they enjoyed cool glide on the Tactik Sailboard.

Souvenez-vous ! il y a quelques jours nous étions au lac de la Forêt d’Orient pour un weekend test AFS-1 et Tactik Sailboard.
Le samedi, la pluie et un vent irrégulier de 0 à 25 knts ont balayé le spot. Même si tous les nombreux inscrits au foil n’ont pu tous passer malheureusement, certains ont pu découvrir de nouvelles sensations en décollant pour leur toute première fois !
Le dimanche, le beau temps s’est installé sur le lac, mais sans vent. La voile de foil s’est montré tout aussi efficace sur la Tactik Sailboard, surprenant bien des riders de par son poids plume entre les mains et sa capacité à faire glisser le flotteur, performant dans la pétole.
Tous ont apprécié de bons moments de glisse sur la Tactik Sailboard.

Diony wins Margarita Wild Winds
Diony and his SL-2 take 1st place overall in the 17th Anniversary of the Margarita Wild Winds, 1st place Long Distance, 2nd place open Slalom by just half a point behind Wilhelm Schurmann from Brasil and 4th place in freesytle right behind his fellow team mate Deivis Paternina, NESTEA, HOT SAILS MAUI.

Diony & SL2 first place @ Ona Cup Slalom Pro
“This event was sponsored by the ONA (National Office Anti Drugs) main focus are for our future kids in supporting, educating and directing them threw the right path in life without drugs and alcohol, this was the first time in a great while all the champs where all together and it was great to see every athlete putting their effort to improve our El Yaque which is ranked top 3 destinations in the world for Windsurf and Kite!
During the first two days of the slalom pro it was a battle between Master Alexis Carache (who tought me how to windsurf) Ricardo Campello and I, we all 3 had an equal tie! When it came down to the 3rd day of competition I gained more confidance and was more in tuned with my equipment, with winds gusting up to 28 knots using my 92L SL2 AHD and my 7.3 GPS Hot Sails Maui, I secured 1st place after the 3rd day but still with a tight score together with Ricardo and Alexis! They were both sailing unbalevable
I don’t know what happened on the 4th and last day! The conditions where great, my starts where perfect exiting with hi speed I managed to win all 5 rounds that day with a great lead of almost a half a bouy ahead of everyone! I was very happy with my performance and most of all that the whole event brought every one closer and with the positive energy of all to keep our El Yaque progressing and giving the best example we can to our future kids! And keep on being a World Champion destination!”
